Jump Into Fun, Dole Island Trampoline Park

Go ahead. Be a kid again! And with as many different types of trampoline areas the Trampoline Park offers, you’ll want to. While this place is a bit far out (even for you Puxi-Ren) it’s worth the trek. Go with a group of friends, company party, kids’ birthday party, to get in a good workout (I seriously have sore muscles I didn’t even know I had!) or apparently to practice your trick snowboarding skills (there was a group with snowboards strapped to their feet practicing grabs when we went)!

Dress in workout clothes as you’re guaranteed to work up a sweat. Go on a weeknight just before closing, and you’ll have your best chance as missing the crowds (and if you’re an adult most importantly) the very small kids! Plan to spend 2-3 hours depending on how many people, how much you rest, and how much you just jump, jump, JUMP! Bring a camera, a lot of energy and an extra shirt (you’ll want to change before heading home!)

I went with three friends. We got there at about 7:45pm and stayed until closing. There were few enough people that if we wanted, we could always have one area of the Trampoline park to ourselves—which meant plenty of room to perfect (and film) our synchronized foam pit front flips, cross-trampoline flying ninja moves, and choreographed basketball-dunk routine.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words:

Try to get bouncing side to bottom to side to bottom to side. Maybe this is why I was so dizzy by the end.

If you caught my previous post about Bubble (Zorb) Ball Soccer, you’d know that they’re all the craze right now. Well the Trampoline Park lets you get your last bit of practice in before that big game!

Practice your dunking skills here (it’s harder than it looks)!

I tried not to think too much about how they (don’t) wash the foam pit (below) because it’s a great place to practice your double twisting back for the first time.

Want a discount? I’m horrible at passing up a discount (or rather at not going out of my way to get one—which has resulted in me having piles of member cards from various places all over town). Check out dianping.com to get discounted tickets before you go (this may or may not be the same place that you can get the “buy online” price listed below).
